Joyce
Hong Kong's 1st store to introduce international designerwear
Joyce Ma was a pioneer in international designerwear in Hong Kong, opening her first retail store to satisfy local women’s desire for European clothing in 1971. The Joyce Group now has clothing and beauty stores in both Hong Kong and China, carrying a changing repertoire that might include designs by Alexander Wang, Alexander McQueen, Comme Des Garcons, Giambattista Valli, Jil Sander, Oscar de la Renta, Sacai, Stella McCartney, Victoria Beckham, Junya Watanabe, Yohji Yamamoto and more.
You’ll find the largest store in Central, but I always make a point of visiting Joyce Warehouse in Horizon Plaza to browse through racks of clothing from last season, discounted 30% to 70% off the original price. You never know what you’ll find, but on several occasions I’ve snatched up bargains for one of my favorite Japanese designers at a fraction of what I would have paid in Japan.
