Star Ferry’s Harbour Tour
Star Ferry cruises recall travel in the 1920s
For a relaxed view of the harbor, consider taking the Star Ferry’s Harbour Tour. Your cruise is aboard the Shining Star, built in 1964 but refurbished as a 1920s ferry. Otherwise, it’s a touring vessel with a sun deck and viewing platform so you have more unobstructed views of Victoria Harbour and the city skyline, not to mention more aboard time than the usual Star Ferry crossing.
Departing from both the Tsim Sha Tsui and Central Star Ferry piers, as well as from the Wan Chai ferry pier, boat tours last one hour on a circular route around the harbor. Probably the most popular is the one that travels during the nightly Symphony of Lights, but that costs more.
