Santa Claus
Santa's Place
Back in the late 1930s, Louis Koch, a wealthy industrialist in Evansville, Indiana, discovered a small town of less than 200 people with the unique name of Santa Claus.
Located in Southern Indiana, the town had neither a stoplight or paved roads. But the name attracted people and Koch thought they should have something to do when they got there. So in 1946, he started an amusement park, naming it Santa Claus Land.
Since then it’s grown into the mega-theme-park of Holiday World & Splashin' Safari, and the town’s grown along with it.
Now you can check into Santa's Lodge and enjoy a swim in the pool. Dine at St. Nick’s Restaurant at Santa’s Lodge.
Head over to Frosty’s Fun Center for pizza and miniature golf.
