A family-owned artisan dairy that’s more than just cows
Sure, most people don't consider a dairy a must stop, but this big barn of a place represents what creameries were like before the big corporations took over.
The cows are 100% grass-fed producing a high quality non-homogenized organic milk which is for sale and also used to make the cheeses, drinkable yogurts, ice cream, and, in the winter, hot chocolate and eggnog, all served in the upstairs Loft Dairy Bar.
During the summer there are weekly farmer's market and lots of outdoor events. Free self guided and private tours are available and the cow milking is open to the public.
