Cherry Grove Pier

Famous for double deck

Built in the 1950’s, privately owned by the Prince family, the 985-foot pier has been hit several times by hurricanes and rebuilt. It boasts a unique two-story end and being the site of a world record tiger shark catch.

Fishing season is February until December. No license is required when fishing here. Rods are available for rent, and bait and additional supplies are available in the fully stocked tackle shop. Paid parking is adjacent to the property. Serious fishers will want to stay at the neighboring Prince Resort for super convenience.

Call for dates and pricing for the annual Spring Mackerel Tournament.

It’s a popular local spot for breakfast, lunch, cocktails or ice cream in the updated indoor and outdoor Boardwalk Beach Cafe.
