Buckingham Street
Well-preserved main street
The highlight of a visit to Arrowtown is a wander down the town’s main drag, Buckingham Street.
Historic buildings have been well-preserved and you’ll pass, among others, the Lakes District Museum, the old Post Office and Postmaster’s House, the library and restored cottages and buildings housing The Fork And Tap pub and Provisions Cafe.
There are a number of popular shops, boutiques and cafes, making Buckingham St an easy place to spend an hour or two.
