Kishorn Seafood Bar (West Coast)

Cheerful bistro with great shellfish (l,d; $$)

Langoustines!

Don’t miss this bright little unpretentious seafood bistro. It’s the sort of remote place that comes up in national awards, but where these haven’t changed the place one bit.

Prices are very reasonable, the views lovely and the sharing platters (around £30) a fun way to explore the local catch.

It’s usually open for lunch, and for dinner in summer when you should try and book – as the secret’s out!
