Smart City Hostels Edinburgh 8 Bed Dorm

Scotland has around 120 hostelsaccommodation with shared bedrooms – and most of them are of a good standard with shared kitchens, common rooms and free wifi the norm too.

Many also boast great locations in prime sightseeing areas of cities, or in beautiful out-of-the-way spots in the country, but one of their greatest strengths are as a sociable place to meet and trade tips with other travelers.

This is also the case in Scotland's bothies, though their more primitive style makes them more like camping than hosteling.
