Daintree Discovery Centre
Intimate rainforest encounters
You’ll be snooping around different levels of the world’s oldest rainforest at this award-winning interpretive centre. This includes the forest’s mid-level canopy, accessed via an aerial walkway 11 metres above the forest floor. The walkway leads to an even loftier, 23-metre-tall tower, which offers access to the upper canopy.
Admission includes an audio-guide tour of both the aerial walkway and ground-level boardwalk trails, with dedicated narration for younger visitors. Trails include a particularly fascinating Bush Tucker Trail, shedding light on the forest’s culinary and medicinal aspects.
