Banham Zoo

Zoo with activities

Located in South Norfolk, Banham Zoo is a large, animal friendly zoo which participates actively in the conservation of endangered species.

Snow leopards, Fishing cats, meerkats, spoonbills, kangeroos, otters, camals, lemurs to maned wolves, pallas cats, two toed sloths, black swans, prarie dogs and goats are just a few of the extensive range of wildlife to be seen.

In total, over 2,000 animals, birds and reptiles live in the 50 acres of parkland.

The haunting cry of the howler monkeys echoes around the parkland, as does the occasional roar of Amur tigers.

Enjoy a birds of prey demonstration, meet some amazing animals, discover amazing stories about animals like penguins and sea lions during feeding sessions.

All parts of the site are easily accessible, with flat tarmaced pathways perfect for buggies.

Facilities

Wide range of takeway catering, as well as extensive grassy areas in which to picnic. There is a large children’s play area as well as ariel trekking and zip wire courses.
