Hillside Animal Sanctuary

Shire Horses & much more!

Meet shire horses, ponies, donkeys, mules, goats, sheep, cows, alpacas and pigs together with a host of smaller animals like chickens, duck, rabbits and chipmunks plus various birds in their aviaries at the Hillside Animal and Shire Horse Sanctuary on the outskirts of Cromer.

A relaxing, gentle stroll among the animals with the opportunity to pet and stroke many of them. The Shire Horses and donkeys love the attention! There is a cafe providing a variety of takeaway food.

Refreshments available, dogs on leads welcome.

Access by car via the A149 Cromer to Sheringham road. The Bittern Line Railway from Norwich and the Coasthopper bus service stop at West Runton, a short walk from Hillside.

Open daily between April and end October.

Charge for entry, Free car parking.
