Lowestoft is the furthest point east on the UK mainland.
An extensive Blue Flag beach with golden sand and lifeguards present throughout the summer season, makes this a popular family destination. The shallow, gently sloping beach is definitely great for kids.

Victorian sea front gardens line the long promenade, providing a gentle stroll all the way to Pakefield and eventually ending in a mass of sand dunes.
