Located in Cambridgeshire, the Nene Valley Railway is a preserved line  offering steam train journeys  through the countryside lasting 7 1/2 miles, with stops possible en route.
Additional facilities on site include model and garden railways, see restoration work underway, discover railway heritage items in the museum.
Stop off en route and enjoy a picnic at Yarwell station, or take a walk through the countryside.
Special events held regularly throughout the year including Santa Express trains at Christmas.

Just off the A1(M) at the A1/A47 interchange, follow the brown tourist signs.

If travelling by train, it is just a short walk from Peterborough  mainline station.
