St Albans Cathedral

Discover a tale of a Roman martyr & saint

St Albans cathedral

St Albans Cathedral is definitely worth a visit. A massive building, it contains the longest Nave in England, as well as the Shrine of Britain’s first saint which has attracted pilgrims for over 1700 years.

There are also stunning medieval wall paintings. Explore the lovely parkland which surrounds the cathedral, yet is situated within only a few minutes walk from the town centre.

A very calm, relaxing place which holds frequent special events including art exhibitions and children’s activities.

Cathedral shop and cafe.
