Tallinn In-A-Day

Ambling around the Old Town

Tallinn, Estonia

Tallinn’s compact Old Town is perfect for one-day exploration, although a lot of sightseeing detail is packed into this relatively small space - hopefully the itinerary below will help you get the best out of it.

Morning

Main point of reference in Tallinn’s Old Town is Town Hall Square, an imposing ensemble of historic buildings that makes the obvious starting and finishing point of any urban exploration.

After admiring the Town Hall take a peek at the Church of the Holy Spirit before proceeding along Pikk Street, whose parade of handsome buildings includes enduring urban landmarks such as the House of the Blackheads and The Three Sisters.
