Art

I work with found and combined materials. This is from a series of portraits made with discarded perfume publicity panels.

Since the the Renaissance France has always been a welcoming place for artists from the rest of Europe to come and work. In part due to this it has an extremely rich artistic legacy and this can be seen in its world famous museums from the iconic Le Louvre with Leonardo’s Mona Lisa to the Impressionist masterpieces at the Musée d’Orsay, and the more recent work at Centre Pompidou.

Not everything is in Paris though! Nice has the Musées Matisse and Chagall while Lyon’s Musée des Beaux-Arts is one of the largest in France.
