Café el Badia
Café on a level with the storks' nests (b,l,d; $$)
As its name suggests, the Café el Badia is very handy for the El Badi Palace, which is a stone's throw away.
Café el Badia is an upstairs café, with a terrace where you can check out the storks' nests on top of the nearby walls and ramparts.
The Iraqi stained glass on the windows of the salon is pretty, but makes it a bit dark inside.
Service here is friendly, whether you pop in for a coffee or a full meal. They have a choice of six set menus (100–130dh), of which the cheapest is vegetarian, or you can order individual dishes if you prefer.
