The world’s most famous cycle race, the Tour de France or Le Tour, is held annually each July and consists of 21 one day stages over 23 days culminating on the Champs Elysées in Paris.
Spot the Yellow Jersey
The stages are right across the different regions of France and sometimes they have a stage or two in surrounding countries suuch as the Netherlands or maybe Belgium. Spectators are are able to line the route and get good views of the riders as they pass. The overall Race Leader is easy to pick out as he wears the Yellow Jersey while the King of the Mountains wears a white jersey with red polka dots.
