White River State Park, just two blocks west of the state Capitol, is the only urban park in the state and offers a plethora of options.

Stop at the aquarium where those who don't mind getting wet can reach out and touch sharks (don't worry these are the friendly ones) or take a tour behind the scenes. Ride the Kombo, a safari-themed family roller coaster that has enough dips and turns to keep kids thrilled but gentle enough for parents.
