Café Clock
Marrakesh branch of a popular Fez café restaurant (b,l,d: $$)
Down at the southern end of the Kasbah, Café Clock is the Marrakesh branch of a much-loved Fez institution. You can come here for a drink, a meal, or one of their regular events.
As well as juices and smoothies, Café Clock do great set breakfasts (50dh), Lebanese-style mezze (falafel with hummus, pickles and tahina, 70dh), veg pastilla, quiches, salads, soups and, most famously, camel burgers (95dh – yes, the meat is camel, and very tasty too).
The atmosphere is friendly, cool and relaxed, and it's a great place to hang out. There are two floors plus a roof terrace. They also have events, with storytelling on Thursdays, and music most other nights, and they organize workshops on things like Arabic calligraphy and Moroccan culture.
