Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium

Star attractions

ParcOlympique02

Like the Montreal Biodome next door, the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium is educational and primarily aimed at kids.

The topic here is nature too - though it’s of the intergalactic kind. Here, screenings of films in two domed cinemas relate various facts and ideas about the cosmos. They’re enriched by an exhibition outside, which includes meteor fragments.

Only some shows are in English so try to plan around the show times.

The overpriced parking lot ($19) is a target for thieves, so don’t leave valuables in vehicles.
