Highland Wildlife Park

Spacious zoo with many native species

European Wolf

Various captive animals have found a home in this zoo run by the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland.

Many are hard to find native species such as otters, pine martens, capercaillie, wild cats and eagles but there are a few more exotic species like a polar bear and camels too. However, quite a few of these exotica once roamed Scotland a long time ago, including bison, bears and wolves.
