Luxury Lodgings

Culloden House Inverness Scotland

To properly explore luxury Scotland you'll need to stay in one of its many luxury hotels. A good number trace back to the Victorian Golden Age of tourism, explaining why they're attached to venerable golf courses. But if you're after contemporary luxury then you'll find a growing number of high-end boutique hotels, particularly in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Unless you have your heart set on a particular property it's worth scanning travel aggregator Momondo or deal aggregator Itison. (I've no financial interest in either).

Train Chartering - Royal Scotsman, cabin

Other ways to enjoy luxury Scotland include on a cruise with the Hebridean Princess or by rail with the Royal Scotsman. Both are listed below in a fairly complete list of Scotland's luxury accommodation.
