South Devon

The Devon coast between Exeter in the east and Plymouth in the west, forms a triangle of land and shelters some of the county’s most enchanting places.

Bantham acts as a magnet for surfers, with dunes, cool food trucks and reliable waves. Nearby, Bigbury offers kayaking, SUPing and a tidal island to explore.

Salcombe charms you with sandy bays and millionaires’ homes. Dartmouth serves up boat trips and beautiful buildings. Totnes delivers a fun castle and an eco-town vibe.

And south Devon also offers two of the county’s most delightful historic houses. Greenway – Agatha Christie’s holiday home, and Coleton Fishacre – a gorgeous Jazz Age retreat.
