Outdoors for Kids

edinburgh

Edinburgh's best and most accessible central playground is at the eastern edge of The Meadows. Edinburgh's Parks & Gardens also include the pint-sized hill-walking experience offered by Arthur's Seat; and the many nooks to explore in the Royal Botanic Garden.

Crammond Island is also a great destination for the oddity of its causeway, and there are shells to collect here too. There's more seaside fun at Portobello Beach, an ideal day out in good weather.

Futher out of town, Jupiter Artland is also worth a look out for its many fun spots for kids to roam.
