Eating near Place Abdelmoumen

Marrakesh

There's a good choice of eating places around Place Abdelmoumen, from solid French and Moroccan fare at La Taverne to fine Moroccan dining at Al Fassia, and Italian cuisine at La Trattoria.

In the streets north of Place Abdelmoumen, you'll find mechoui joint Chez Lamine Hadj Mustapha, Senegalese diner Petit Dakar, and women's co-op Amal. Much further afield, at the far northern end of Avenue Mohammed V, is the Crêperie de Marrakech.

Bars in the area that serve good food include Café Atlas.

Posh patisseries in the zone include Al Jawda on Rue de la Liberté and Amandine on Rue Mohammed el Bekal.

Restaurants on Rue de la Liberté and Rue Tariq Ibn Ziad are listed under Eating near Place du 16 Novembre.
